Thank you johannes. I am glad u liked it. I think for integration we need to accomodate and not persue majoritarianism in any sense. If we give equal importance to every religion ,no problems will arise.

Your article is about a topic that is quite important in Germany as well. With the recent refugee situation many people have been complaining the Muslim religion being hard to integrate in Germany. What do you think is important when integrating people into a culture, without diminishing the individual’s right of religion and freedom?

Communalism : a source of separatism

The above painting shows the current situation in India. Religion has always played a pivotal role in India. The two communities : Hindus and Muslims have been fighting for more than decades. During colonial rule, Britishers adopted the policy of divide and rule among Indians and sowed seeds of hatred between the two sects.

The famous "BABARI MASJID (mosque) CASE" has been depicted above. Many Hindus tried to demolish the mosque ,as it is a known fact that before this, a Hindu temple ( of lord Rama )was  there and a mosque was constructed over the temple during the mughal era. This action of Hindus had hurt religious sentiments of many Muslims.

One thing led to another and major riots broke out between the two communities. since then , time and again many situations were seen where these two groups created problems.

Being a responsible student, and as our education system preaches, we all should see the larger picture and should put an end to this bloodshed. India has beautifully accommodated diversity, whether it is minorities ( Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, parsis) or based on caste system. these kind of activities promotes separatist feelings and brings us closer to disintegration.  I really hope for a better future , where peace exists and harmony prevails.
