Dear Sahil, I think it`s great, that you and your government do so many things to prevent climate change and defrorestacion! Your actions are very useful and I think many People, who haven`t thought about the climate change might also help preventing it now. Do you have other ideas? Maybe for other countries, which don`t have the possibilitys as India and for example Germany? Greetings Tara

Dear Tara We are creating awareness among people about the importance of trees.Even our Government is doing a lot like by organising campaigns for planting more trees , by showing small documentary films in the schools and playing street plays. Competitions are being organised in the schools like drawing competition , slogan writing etc. on the protection of our environment. Quiz etc. is also held. Land is being arranged for the people to grow plants in the name of their dear ones. Sahil Bakshi

I love your poem, Sahil! The message behind it is very important and it might encourage one to do something against Deforestacion.Many peolpe don´t understand the importance of protecting our enviroment and if we don´t take solve the issue of the environmental pollution our descendants won´t be able to see our beautiful Nature ,like we can see now.What do you do to protect our Environment in India?

Don’t cut the trees.

 

Don’t cut the trees.

It’s my humble plea.

Birds make their nest,

Under the tree we rest.

It gives us shade.

Then why to use blade?

It helps in bringing rain,

In return crops, we gain.

It provides us with woods.

We use it for our goods.

In woods animals get shelter.

There we hear children’s laughter.

We all love to be with nature.

Not only humans but all creatures.

Trees give us the solution,

To curb all the pollution.

We must respect and bow,

More and more trees we grow.

So, don’t cut the trees.

It’s my humble plea.

C`est mon humble plaidoyer.

Les oiseaux font leur nid,

Sous l`arbre, nous nous reposons.

Il nous donne de l`ombre.

Alors pourquoi utiliser la lame ?

Il aide à apporter la pluie,

En retour, nous obtenons des récoltes.

Il nous fournit des bois.

Nous l`utilisons pour nos produits.

Dans les bois, les animaux s`abritent.

On y entend des rires d`enfants.

Nous aimons tous être avec la nature.

Non seulement les humains mais toutes les créatures.

Les arbres nous donnent la solution,

Pour freiner toute la pollution.

Nous devons respecter et s`incliner,

De plus en plus d`arbres nous poussent.

Donc, ne coupez pas les arbres.

C`est mon humble plaidoyer.
