Durante la settimana del meeting Erasmus che ha avuto luogo nel nostro liceo ad Assisi, abbiamo spesso avuto occasione di riflettere sulla vita degli emigranti, abbiamo ascoltato le storie toccanti dei ragazzi del “Centro Pace” e sia così entrati in contatto con la loro dura realtà; insieme a loro e ai nostri partner europei abbiamo visto il film “Wallah je te jure”, che tra l’altro, documenta i difficili viaggi degli emigranti provenienti dall’Africa e le ragioni del loro viaggio. Questo documentario è stato veramente interessante: abbiamo potuto vedere concretamente perché così tante persone decidono di lasciare la loro patria e le loro famiglie per emigrare in Europa. In realtà loro non avrebbero l` intenzione di lasciare l’Africa, ma le guerre, la fame e l’insicurezza non lasciano loro alcun’altra scelta se non la fuga.

Il film ci ha mostrato immagini molto dure che ci hanno anche scocciato. Tutti hanno guardato il film con molta attenzione, anche i nostri partner provenienti dalla Germania, Polonia, Svezia e Ungheria.

Due ragazzi del “Centro Pace” non sono riusciti a trattenere le lacrime mentre raccontavano del loro viaggio e noi abbiamo potuto vedere e sentire il loro dolore. Per noi è stato molto triste capire che essi hanno rischiato la vita per sfuggire ad un duro destino.

Questa esperienza ci ha aperto gli occhi e i nostri partner europei hanno sicuramente capito meglio con quali problemi l’Italia è chiamata a confrontarsi in questo particolare momento storico.

During the week of the Erasmus meeting in Assisi, we had the opportunity to reflect on the lives of the emigrants more often. We have heard the touching stories of the "Centro Pace" boys in contact with their harsh reality, and together with them and with our European partners we have seen the movie "Wallah je te jure", which documents, among other things, the difficult journeys of the emigrants from Africa and their reasons. This documentary was really very interesting: We were able to see exactly why so many people decided to leave their home and their families to emigrate to Europe, they did not really want to leave Africa, but wars, hunger and insecurity leave them no other option but to escape.

The film has shown us very strong images that have also shocked us. Everyone was very attentive to the film, including our partners from Germany, Poland, Sweden and Hungary.

Two "Centro Pace" boys could not hold back the tears when they told their journey and we could see and hear their suffering, it was very sad for us to understand that they risked their lives to too hard a fate escape.

This experience has certainly opened our eyes, and our European partners have certainly understood better what problems Italy faces at this historic moment.

In der Woche des Erasmus-Treffens in Assisi haben wir Gelegenheit gehabt, öfters über das Leben der Auswanderer nachzudenken. Wir haben die rührenden Geschichten der Jungen aus dem “Centro Pace" gehört und sind so in Kontakt mit ihrer harten Realität getreten. Zusammen mit ihnen und mit unseren europäischen Partnern haben wir den Film "Wallah je te jure" gesehen, der u. a. die schwierigen Reisen der Auswanderer aus Afrika und deren Gründe dokumentiert. Dieser Dokumentarfilm war wirklich sehr interessant: Wir konnten konkret sehen, warum sich so viele Menschen dafür entscheiden, ihre Heimat und ihre Familien zu verlassen, um nach Europa zu emigrieren. Sie wollten Afrika eigentlich nicht verlassen, aber Kriege, Hunger und Unsicherheit lassen ihnen keinen anderen Ausweg als die Flucht.

Der Film hat uns sehr starke Bilder gezeigt, die uns auch schockiert haben. Alle waren beim Film sehr aufmerksam, auch unsere Partner aus Deutschland, Polen, Schweden und Ungarn.

Zwei Jungen aus dem “Centro Pace" konnten die Tränen nicht zurückhalten, als sie ihre Reise erzählten und wir konnten ihr Leiden sehen und hören. Es war für uns sehr traurig zu verstehen, dass sie ihr Leben riskiert haben, um einem zu harten Schicksal zu entfliehen.

Diese Erfahrung hat uns die Augen geöffnet, und unsere europäischen Partner haben sicher besser verstanden, mit welchen Problemen Italien in diesem historischen Moment konfrontiert ist.
