Theatre Lab (Youth), Bangalore/India
Started in 1996, Theatre Lab (Youth) is an open and enquiring space for theatre study, practice and experiment. It offers young folk a platform for democratic education that encourages them to think critically, voice their thoughts, offer feedback and participate with confidence within and beyond their communities.
Currently a group of 60 children attend Theatre Lab (Youth) on a weekly basis. The senior students now intern with Kirtana at workshops and camps and have begun their journey as adult theatre artists.
We are interested in being on Trait d’union platform as we have a congruent vision connected to the arts, intercultural understanding, justice and equality for all.
